Taverns - Qualification
and Registration |

|
For the purposes of the QCC and it's Taverns, a Tavern will be any establishment that is regularly open to the public and who's primary source of income lies in the serving of drink, or of food and drink, or of food and drink and lodging. This would include Taverns, Inns, Bars, Pubs, Cafe's, and Restaurants. When registering your tavern, you have the choice of making it an AIM room or an AOL public room. AIM rooms are useful as there are a growing number of individuals who do not use AOL and participate within the QCC using AIM only. You may wish to have two types of rooms for your tavern; one as an AOL public room where anyone interested may enter and participate, and one as an AIM room for possible QCC Event Activities. In those instances it would be recommended to use the same room name for both types of rooms. There are two types of taverns: 1] Main taverns - Each House is allowed one main tavern. This tavern is a public place, supported in staff and maintenance by those within the House. The House is responsible for paying the salaries and for the supplies. Profits belong to the House. 2] Secondary taverns - Secondary taverns are owned and operated by an individual. A House can only have two of these types taverns associated with it or an Individual QCC Member can open a Secondary Tavern. All taverns are required to have at least some sort of minimally descriptive web page for the tavern, before registration can take place. If this represents a difficulty, please contact a member of the QCC Council. To register your tavern please use the link below and fill out the form there completely. Your registration here will also be used to update the merchant directories. You do not have to file separately! |

| Tavern Earnings
- Activity and
Earnings |

|
It is assumed that your tavern is open regularly and, therefore, it is earning an income. To simplify the bookkeeping for the transactions taking place in your tavern, tavern earnings are rolled and computed on a quarterly basis. Beginning with the Second Quarter of 2006, all Taverns Mangers must prove
activity within their taverns during the current Quarter prior to being eligible
to roll for the next Quarter's earnings. Newly established Taverns may
roll for their first eligible Quarter without proof of activity.
This required proof of activity may be presented in one of two forms: Tavern Earning rolls are made in front of a Tavern Representative. It is the tavern manager's responsibility to contact the Tavern Representative (see Tavern Representatives) to arrange a time to roll for Tavern Earnings. The
time schedule for when to do the tavern earning rolls is as follows:
All Main Taverns start with a base of 2000 QC, Secondary
Taverns with a base of 200 QC.
Earnings will be determined by rolling 3d10 for each month. The highest die will be used and applied as a percentage to the base to determine earnings for the month. A high roll of 1-4 will be doubled. Tips go hand in hand with earnings and so they will be rolled for as well. They will be based on a roll of 1d3 for each month. The high die of the three will be used and multiplied by the Tip base to determine the tips for the month. A new tavern will be eligible for tavern earnings at the beginning of a new quarter. So if your tavern is opened in February, you will be eligible for tavern earnings for the Second Quarter. If an established Tavern needs its designation changed, such as going from a Secondary to a Main, the current designation will remain in effect until the end of the quarter, and be altered with the next quarter. Examples of how the system works:
Main Tavern: A check from the Main Bank will be issued to this Main Tavern for 2000 for July's earnings. Secondary Tavern: A check from the Main Bank will be issued to this Secondary Tavern for 170 for July's earnings.
