(Since most member requirements are explained in terms of RP and webpages, these membership explanations are OOC.)

Guilds or Houses are welcome in the QCC.  All that is required is a treasurer, an accounting page for your group, and the desire to RP on an interactive platform.

Your accounting page is simply a webpage that is used like a checking account register. Your treasurer records incoming and outgoing QCoins along with memo notes on the transactions and keeps a balance. It isn't hard. Go to the Members page and browse through existing accounting pages to get an idea how to set one up.

If you have no members with webpage experience, we can help. With the publishers available today, you can make an adequate page without knowing a thing about html. The whole point to the QCC is to provide an environment for you and your group to RP in. If you have the desire to be here, we want to help you in any way we can so don't let a lack of web publishing experience keep you away.

The GC and treasurer will be the main contacts between your group and the QCC Council. QCC mail, including event and activity announcements, and Coalition updates, will be sent to the GC and treasurer for you to distribute to your members.(!) **Please note that email from the QCC Council will be coming in from the internet. If you have internet mail blocked, please change your email preferences to allow incoming mail from questcoin.com.

(!) The QCC's mailstring is now open to all QCC members. Please encourage your members to sign up individually to receive QCC updates and announcements.

The Honor Agreement that you will be asked to submit is simply a pledge to the Council that you intend to RP and govern your group within the QCC with honor and integrity. While you may have characters that are rogues and  scoundrels that will cheat and steal every opportunity they get, you are pledging OOC to maintain the accounting page and play fair with the other players in the Coalition.

Once these easy requirements are met, your group will receive an initial disbursement of up to §20,000, depending on your group size (5-10 members: §5,000; 11-15 members: §10,000; 16+ members: §20,000).  If you start off with less than 16 members, as your group grows, you will receive additional disbursements, up to the §20,000 limit.

As a QCC House member, you have the responsibility to maintain the accounts of your members. You directly receive all mailing from the QCC Council for events, activities, and updates within the Coalition that you then distribute to your group.

Some players may not wish to be bothered with tracking their own accounts. In this case, your group may wish to see if they can contract a treasurer to keep your accounts for you. If successful, your group would essentially be hiring an accountant.

Look over the information here in the Quest Coin site to get a basic understanding of what the QCC is all about. Understand the material contained in the Guidelines since you will be administering the QCC to your group.

Make an accounting page for your group.  If your group has concerns about disclosing its member list on a publicly accessible webpage, contact council@questcoin.com for information on how to satisfy the QCC requirements for QCoin accountability and still keep your roster private.

Contact the QCC Council for a meeting to answer your questions. The meeting is not formal and it need not be IC since many of the set up questions involve discussing RP and webpages. You may contact any of the Council members [kyrallaithe, raenalsia, saevinggrace, theldydes] you find online to answer your questions and we will consider this 'the meeting'.

Complete the House Honor Agreement.  Upon approval of your treasury and acceptance of your agreement, you will receive the initial disbursement and listed as an active member.

**Please note that email from the QCC Council will be coming in from the internet. If you have internet mail blocked, please change your email preferences to allow incoming mail from questcoin.com.
