From the Director's Desk...

We are working to make sure all of our records are updated, and in return we'd like swift responses to the letters we send out and would also like everyone to make sure their treasuries are as up to date as possible. As it takes a staggering amount of time to hold the races for you every month, we are considering checking on updated treasuries, requiring them to be within 3 months of current for those who want to race or bet the following season. As treasury accountability is part of the honor agreement everyone signed, this should not be an issue.
 

All independents should have received a letter on status. If not, please send back your name with the following information marked:

___  I am continuing as an active independent member of the QCC.
___  Please remove me from the QCC listings.
___  Even though I am away often, I wish to remain an independent member.
___  I have since joined a member QCC House, and am no longer eligible for Independent status.
Those who do not reply will be contacted only once more before being 'archived' in our files.

 
 
Certain events have not been paid out with these checks as we have not received attendance from the hosts, they will be issued as we receive them.

 

 From the Madje's Desk While Gracie's Away ...

      Hi everyone!  I hope you're all doing great this winter, and that the snow hasn't kept anyone from having fun!  Gracie's away vacationing right now, but Des, Rae, Belle, and I are holding down the fort till she gets back!  In the meanwhile, I was able to get the Tavern stuff straightened out and it should be pretty easy to follow!  Basically, if you or your House has a Tavern, you'll need to submit two (2) logs per each Tavern to qualify for the 500 qc per month bonus.  If your House has two Taverns, and you turn in two (2) logs for each of them (a total of four (4) logs sent in), you will get two (2) 500 qc Tavern Bonuses for that month for a total of 1,000 qc.  There is a maximum of three (3) Taverns per House or one (1) per individual, so a House with the maximum of three Taverns turning in all six logs total will receive the maximum Tavern Bonus of 1,500 qc for the month. 

1 Tavern (2 Logs): 500 qc
2 Taverns (2 Logs for each = 4 Logs): 1,000 qc
3 Taverns (2 Logs for each = 6 Logs): 1,500 qc
 
    If you're still confused, please contact me!  I really am trying to make that easy to understand!

    In exciting Racing news, we have three new Stables joining the mix this Friday evening!  Leoperdis' Embrace the Madness Stable, Ylyla's Karesinda Stables, Kingdom of Leoness' Silver and Gold Stables, and Alexandra Skye's Skye Stables will all be running their Maiden Racers!

    Don't forget, Vet Inspections are running March 1st through the 15th, so be sure to get them in earlier than later to ensure we get everyone in in a timely fashion! Please contact any of our helpful QCC Vets for your Inspection as soon as you can! (Askavinge, BasVanSandt, Rose of Malice, Saeving Grace, TheLdyDES)

    We're still looking for volunteers to help us announce races!  If anyone is interested in trying their hand at calling races, they'll earn a nifty 300 qc just for training and showing an interest in trying to help us out!  Thursdays are our big nights that we don't have many people to help us out, and most announcers make 400 qc - 700 qc a month for calling 4 - 7 races spread out over the two nights we host races!  We're always flexible, of course, and if you feel nervous about doing more than one race a night, that's fine too!  No problem!  We can fit you in where-ever you like!  Want to go early?  Okay!  Getting home a little late?  We can fit you into the middle!  Like going last?  No problem, that'd be peachy!  So, if you're interested and you can even donate the 10-15 minutes it takes to call a race - even if it's only one Thursday or Friday a month - please contact the Council!  Thank youuuuuuu!!

    Dear Friends and QCC Members,
 
    As part of the annual listings clean-up, we'd like to keep your Merchant, Tavern, and Stable listings updated and spiffy! 
 
    Please go through the merchant listings on the QCC site and make sure that all your URLs, Business Owner/Email, House Affilliation, and Descriptions are up-to-date!  Fill in all the information, and if you'd like to change any of the descriptions, make sure you write "UPDATE!" then write in your new description so I can make the necessary changes!   Please be sure to keep your list of businesses, taverns, and stables in alphabetical order to ensure proper filing!  If you'd like any businesses removed, please let me know which listings to take off, too!  If you have a Stable and you want to add a description beyond "stable", or your business extends beyond the racing aspect, please feel free to write your own in, too!
 
    Any unresponsive businesses after March 15th will be contacted once more before being relegated to inactive status and removed from the listings.  Members who delete this email will have their businesses removed, as it indicates a disinterest in continuing with the QCC's Merchant, Tavern, and Stables aspect of the forum.

ABOUT OUR MAILSTRINGS

QCC Voluntary Mailstring

This mailing list is made up of QCC members who have consented to be on it. The purpose of this list is to allow business announcements and flyers to be sent to those groups and individuals that welcome the information and intend to distribute it to their members. This mailing list does not replace any mailing lists compiled by individual businesses or event hosts from their own patrons and customers.

Being a member of the QCC does not automatically put you on this list! It is by request only. Sign yourself up if you want to receive Voluntary mailings.

Mail List Alert

If you receive mail list alerts for any of the QCC mail lists, please forward them to council@questcoin.com. Sometimes when we are updating the mail lists, an SN gets put back into the signup list. That auto-generates a privacy alert that gets mailed to you. If you'll forward those alerts to the council, we'll know you got it. It was most likely triggered by something we did; but if we didn't do it, we'll certainly want to know. :)

QCC Member Mail List

Any QCC members who wish to be on the QCC Members' Mail List to receive QCC Updates directly from the Council should send a note to council@questcoin.com to be added to the list. This does not take the place of the Voluntary Mail List. Sign-up for the Voluntary Mail List is still self service and you'll find the sign-up page here:  QCC Voluntary Mailstring

**Mail List Notes: We don't care if the addresses on the mail lists are for RP characters or not. If you have AIM characters and you want to put a non-RP address on the mail lists to get the QCC notices, that's fine with us.
