We are working to make sure all of our records are
updated, and in return we'd like swift responses to the letters we send
out and would also like everyone to make sure their treasuries are as up
to date as possible. As it takes a staggering amount of time to hold the
races for you every month, we are considering checking on updated
treasuries, requiring them to be within 3 months of current for those who
want to race or bet the following season. As treasury accountability is
part of the honor agreement everyone signed, this should not be an issue.
All independents should have received a letter on status. If not, please send back your name with the following information marked:
The Tavern survey results were compiled and I
wrote up a new Tavern Guideline based off what the majority of people
voted for after a bit of discussion with the Council members. You can
read them
here!
Basically summed up, the entire system
was simplified, no more rolling dice - if you own a tavern, you simply
turn in two logs showing tavern activity between the first and
twenty-ninth of each month and you'll qualify to be paid out a nifty 500
qc for the month. The payout will appear on the first payout of the
month (this one, for example!). In addition to that, Houses may have
three Taverns, while Independents may have one, but all will be paid 500
qc each, rather than having the vast differences in Primary and
Secondary earnings. We had a really terrific response back on the
survey, I'd like to thank all of you members who stepped up to the plate
and turned them back in! Those of you who participated each earn 500 qc
for your Taverns, while each individual who participated also earns 100
qc, regardless if they own a Tavern or not as our way of saying, "THANK
YOU!!"
Earlier this month I sent out a Merchant Listings mailing to see who was still actively keeping their shops open, as well as if anyone wants anything in their listing altered or updated. After March 15th, we'll begin the overhaul to remove any inactive members who didn't respond - so please be sure to submit your listings! Any updates should be marked "UPDATE!" in the areas to be updated so I can see easily what needs to be changed, if anything. Please write me if you would like to delete your listings, also!
News in Events? Does anyone have any Events they'd like to do? If you need help, feel free to drop me a message! I'm always here to help out anyone who needs it! We'd love to see more Houses and Independents hosting Events, honestly - anything to encourage more interactions! The Valentine's Joust was a great success, everyone who participated did wonderful on their runs, and the Kalmindor Alliance proved to be great Hosts! Kudos to everyone included! Temporarily gone, but not forgotten - a QCC Mixer is planned to be held on Thursday the 22nd at 9pm EST, every person who attends will receive 100 qc as per the usual Mixer pay-out! Door prizes for each person, and maybe a few games will be played if anyone feels up to it! We hope to see you there!
