From the Commissioner's Desk...

Please join me on congratulating the following outstanding racers who have advanced in rank. Natty Dread of IronStar advances to Rank 8.  Advancing to Rank 5 is Battle Cry and Wind, of the Shadow Guardian Stables, Oro from Desert Winds, and Vhizuhn of Glorious Moon Stables. Huzzahs also to Elusive Quality, of Halcyon for advancing to Rank 4.

We are -still- looking for announcers!  THREE Thousand Coins will go to everyone who goes through announcer training and helps out for at least three months after completing their training.  That bonus would be in addition to any coins earned announcing.  Contact a Council member to arrange your training if you are interested.  Please, QCC Racing is enjoyed by so many, and our announcers are crucial to that enjoyment.

Please remember to review the Racing Guidelines and know you may always contact a Council member with any questions you may have.

The "Best of the Best" Championship Series runs over the course of one year (or six racing seasons), using cumulative results to determine which racers have performed well enough to race in the Championship Series races. Three times per year, the ten best racers come together to determine just who the "Best of the Best" is. The Contender List below allows Members to follow the Equine Racers who are vying for position in the next race in the Classic Challenge Series.

Total purse for each race:
First - §400
Second - §250
Third - §150

Add §100 for Rank 1 races,
§200 for Rank 2 races,
§300 for Rank 3 races,
§400 for Rank 4 races,
$500 for Rank 5 races,
etc.
How ties are decided:
Two firsts:
Purses for first and second place added together, then divided equally.
Next racer across takes third.

Two seconds:
Purses for 2nd and 3rd place added together, then divided equally.
Next racer across finishes in the field.

Two thirds:
Purse is divided equally.
