Congratulations to the owner and trainers of Persian Rua, who won the B'Ateria Stakes race and has earned an automatic entry into the Soleil Cup.  Huzzahs also to the owner and trainers of Calinrua's Shadow and Pavane, who took second and third.

The "Best of the Best" Championship Series runs over the course of one year (or six racing seasons), using cumulative results to determine which racers have performed well enough to race in the Championship Series races. Three times per year, the ten best racers come together to determine just who the "Best of the Best" is. The Contender List below allows Members to follow the Equine Racers who are vying for position in the next race in the Classic Challenge Series.

Add §100 for Rank 1 races,

§300 for Rank 3 races,

How ties are decided:
Two firsts:
Purses for first and second place added together, then divided equally.
Next racer across takes third.

Two seconds:
Purses for 2nd and 3rd place added together, then divided equally.
Next racer across finishes in the field.

Two thirds:
Purse is divided equally.
