From the Commissioner's Desk...

Please join me in congratulating the owners and trainers of the following racers who have advanced in rank. Advancing to Rank 6 is Foran of IronStar Stables and Mystic of Shadow Guardian Stables.  Dynever from Desert Winds, Heartbreak Kid from Glorious Moon, Judgement from Halycon, Papa Velho from  Lukina Stable, and Warlock Wish from Ironstar Stables are QCC Racing's new Rank 5 racers.  Again, congratulations to the owners and trainers of these outstanding racers.

The Sale Barn Auction will be held Saturday May 5th at 8:00 PM EST.  We currently have 9 racers being offered for sale.  Anyone wishing to add additional racers to the Auction needs to send the information to me no later than April 29th.  Anyone interested in bidding on a racer but is unable to attend the auction please contact me and arrangements may be discussed.  Those planning to bid remember to check the Auction Guidelines and unless noted otherwise there, all existing conditions and rules in the Racing Guidelines are in effect still.

There will an open NE registration from May 1st through May 15th.  Please contact Belladonna Maddox <roseofmalice@aol.com> with any questions.

Please remember to review the Racing Guidelines and know you may always contact a Council member with any questions you may have.

The "Best of the Best" Championship Series runs over the course of one year (or six racing seasons), using cumulative results to determine which racers have performed well enough to race in the Championship Series races. Three times per year, the ten best racers come together to determine just who the "Best of the Best" is. The Contender List below allows Members to follow the Equine Racers who are vying for position in the next race in the Classic Challenge Series.

Add §100 for Rank 1 races,
§200 for Rank 2 races,
§300 for Rank 3 races,
§400 for Rank 4 races,
$500 for Rank 5 races,
etc.
How ties are decided:
Two firsts:
Purses for first and second place added together, then divided equally.
Next racer across takes third.

Two seconds:
Purses for 2nd and 3rd place added together, then divided equally.
Next racer across finishes in the field.

Two thirds:
Purse is divided equally.
