From the Commissioner's Desk...

December offered two exciting nights of racing, and allowed a number of racers to advance in rank.  Calinrua to Rank 9, Cadru Marin and Saltarello Ra to Rank 7, Spooky Magic to Rank 6.  Advancing to Rank 5 were Copper, Leini Jua, and Sunblazer.  Advancing to Rank 4 we have In the Nude and Katelyn.  Please join me in congratulating the proud owners on the performance of these outstanding racers.

Registration for NE Racers is currently open and shall be until December 22nd.  Please see the NE Newsletter of Oct 2006 for the NE Registration Guidelines.  Any questions should be directed to Belladonna Maddoc. <roseofmalice@aol.com>

The "Best of the Best" Championship Series runs over the course of one year (or six racing seasons), using cumulative results to determine which racers have performed well enough to race in the Championship Series races. Three times per year, the ten best racers come together to determine just who the "Best of the Best" is. The Contender List below allows Members to follow the Equine Racers who are vying for position in the next race in the Classic Challenge Series.

Second - §250
Third - §150

Add §100 for Rank 1 races,
§200 for Rank 2 races,
§300 for Rank 3 races,
§400 for Rank 4 races,
$500 for Rank 5 races,
etc.
How ties are decided:
Two firsts:
Purses for first and second place added together, then divided equally.
Next racer across takes third.

Two seconds:
Purses for 2nd and 3rd place added together, then divided equally.
Next racer across finishes in the field.

Two thirds:
Purse is divided equally.
