From the Commissioner's Desk...

Please note that stable owners/managers are responsible for arranging vet inspections for their stables and then filling out the Race Entry Form.  In the past, we have randomly slotted stables that failed to fill out the Race Entry Form; however, the workload has grown immensely and we need stable owners/managers to be accountable for their own stables.  Race Entry Forms are due seven days prior to the races, to allow time for slotting and preparing the necessary documents for announcers.  Any stable that fails to complete a Race Entry Form will simply be withheld from racing in the given season.  We do not wish to make things unpleasant, but if you wish to own a stable, you must be prepared to do what is necessary to maintain that stable.

Additionally, please note a new ruling wherein a newly registered racer must race three times for the stable originally registering the racer before it is eligible to be transferred to another stable.

As always, if you have any suggestions to help make your QCC Racing experience more exciting, I am always happy to listen!

Race announcers earn §100 per race.  Call it hazard pay, or combat pay if you will... but announcing isn't the easiest thing in the world to do, and we want to give a bonus to those who try it. If you'd like to be trained and added to the announcer's pool, please contact Kyral Laithe VanSandt or Rae N'Alsia.

Most announcers call four races on a night and make 400 coins for an hour of time.

The "Best of the Best" Championship Series runs over the course of one year (or six racing seasons), using cumulative results to determine which racers have performed well enough to race in the Championship Series races.  Three times per year, the ten best racers come together to determine just who the "Best of the Best" is.  The Contender List below allows Members to follow the Equine Racers who are vying for position in the next race in the Classic Challenge Series.

Second - §250
Third - §150

Add §100 for Rank 1 races,
§200 for Rank 2 races,
§300 for Rank 3 races,
§400 for Rank 4 races,
$500 for Rank 5 races,
etc.

How ties are decided:
Two firsts:
Purses for first and second place added together, then divided equally.

Two seconds:
Purses for 2nd and 3rd place added together, then divided equally.

Two thirds:
Purse is divided equally.

Bet to place and horse places:
300% of bet

Bet to show and horse shows:

The payoff table is altered by the
bonus the racer has.
