Race Day:

• Equine races will have 5-6 racers. 
• NE races will have 5-6 racers.
• Stakes races will have 10 racers.
   

Racers that win, place, or show are eligible for cumulative bonuses and rankings (i.e. A win gets the competitor a +2 bonus. A place or show gets the competitor a +1 bonus. Losing a race gets the competitor a -1 with a maximum low of -3.) The bonus +/- will be tallied at the beginning of the race. When the competitors are in the starting gate, they begin with whatever their bonus tallies are. A field of four horses could start the race with, for example: 
Bonus: -2 0 1 -1
If the announcer rolls 4 3 5 4, the out of gate tally would be: 2 3 6 3.

The race announcer will roll Xd10 for six rounds/furlongs.
X # equal to number of horses in that race.

1st roll...out of the gate

2nd roll.....the first turn

3rd roll......the straightaway

4th roll........the final turn

5th roll........the homestretch

Final roll.........at the wire

Horse number one is represented by the first number in the first roll.

Horse number three is represented by the third number in the first roll and so on, to Horse number six.

In the example roll above, the 3 and 6 horse bolted out of the gate followed by the 2 horse with the 5 horse leading the lagging 1 and 4 horses slowly out of the gate!

The next roll is added to the numbers of the first, for each horse:

In an amazing turn of events the we have the 1, 3 and 4 horses fighting it out for first and the 2, 5 and 6 horses neck and neck for second coming out of the far turn!!

At the end of the six rolls by the announcer, the horse that has the highest total wins the race.
