Ownership:
A house
may have up to three stables associated with it (either private or house owned). With the current cap of
20 racers per stable, this creates a cap of 60 racers per House. A
House is held to 60 racers total, this being a combination of the total
number of racers in the registered stables of a House and any individuals of
that House owning and registering racers.
One stable per individual as manager and/or owner. The only exceptions to this rule will: A) allow stable owners/managers to be listed as a representative of another stable for purposes of attendance; - OR - B) allow an owner of a private stable to manage one House-owned stable as well. Only the stable owner/manager can authorize changes to a stable lineup or conduct vet inspections.
Stable owner/manager does not have to be present at the races to win. The track
announcer will record all the information and send it out afterwards. However,
attendance at a minimum of ONE of the four
nights of racing over the two month period is required to be eligible to run in
the next season's races. Attendance must be stated for the log by the
owner/manager upon entering the racing room. To adhere to this policy,
the stable owner or manager
MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE at least one of the
four nights.
A proxy is not acceptable, unless listed as a formal representative prior to the
races. The preferred method is: "((Representing STABLE NAME))",
so that the log keeper can simply search for the word "representing".
All stable *owners* must
attend in person once every six months in order for the attendance requirement
to be fulfilled for their stable and the stable be eligible to run in the
next season's races.
An individual may own and race up to two (2) racers without having them as part of a registered racing stable. These racers may be either maiden racers or transferred racers and the appropriate registration fees would apply. If the owner wishes to convert to a stable, the previously registered racers count towards the initial 5 racers a new stable is permitted.
