Jade D'Nyte writes:
"Raider was chosen. When I saw him in the corral of the horse traders, my
heart became his. He was battle scarred, not from fighting on the open
range, but by humans, people who tried to break him. But in his eyes, I saw
something, a fire that men couldn't extinguish. The moment that he decides
that he doesn't wish to compete, will be the moment that he retires to stand
at stud at D'Nyte's Haven. " |

Copper |
|
| Stable: Shadow Guardian Stable | QCC Rank/Bonus: 4, +4 |
|
A Palomino quarter horse Copper has proven herself to be quite an asset to Shadow Guardian Stables both as a racer and as a brood mare. Together with Desert Wind's Calinrua they produced SGS' Rank 4 racers Calinrua's Glintset. Known for her extraordinarily level-headed temperament, Copper does not spook easily and seems to veritably adore her grooms and handlers. Now back on the track as a racer she is burning up the track, taking first in her last three races. |

| Coming to SGS from Aesir Equestrians , Night Time Kiss is a thoroughbred that arrived at AE as an anonymous Solstice gift, although it is known that a certain Sidhe purchased him at the auction. Formerly named Nightmare's Kiss and renamed this racer is previously of Twilight Stables on Gray Sails Isle, purchased by Serenissima, retrained alongside Desert Winds racers, and then offered for auction. As a racer for AE Night has shown remarkable speed and the heart of a true racer. Night was also part of a unprecedented three-way tie for first at the '06 B'Ateria Stakes race. | |

Spartan |
|
| Stable: Shadow Guardian Stable | QCC Rank/Bonus: 3, +4 |
|
Spartan, a quarter horse-thoroughbred mix has been a racer with SGS for quite some time now and has just begun to live up to the potential that his handlers and trainers have been claiming he possessed all along. A sturdy, tolerant gentleman, he learns slowly but steadily and never forgets. Patient and focused, Spartan enjoys the simpler things such as a good grooming or a nice, slow walk in the exercise ring, and actually seems to detest the sweets and carrots that normally endear the feeders to other horses. |
