Announcers' Corner Race announcers earn 100 qcoins per race. Call it hazard pay, or combat pay if you will... but announcing isn't the easiest thing in the world to do, and we want to give a bonus to those who try it. Greetings NE Racing Fans, Below, please find the long-awaited revision of the guidelines concerning the registration of new NE Racers. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time. The less patient are gently reminded that there has never been a restriction of any kind on the transfers of existing racers and that option has always been open.
NE Registration Guidelines - First and foremost, unless otherwise specified, NE Racing is subject to the same rules and regulations that apply to Equine Racing. -Effective immediately, all stables that race only NE's are subject to a cap of 20 racers per stable. Mixed stables of both Equines and NE's are subject to a cap of 12 racers in the NE section. Existing stables that are over the new limits are grandfathered in at their existing numbers. However, until they reduce their numbers below the cap, they are ineligible to register any new racers, and are required to choose a maximum of 12 of the healthy racers to compete. -NE's are subject to veterinary inspection and fees, however they are not subject to entry fees and all healthy NE's are eligible to race. Owners and managers do not need to fill out an entry form for NE's. -New racer registration periods will be two weeks long, occurring in the even numbered months. Registration periods will not exceed three times per mun year. Transfers of existing racers may occur at any time, with the proper transfer fees applying. Any stable attempting to register a new NE outside of a designated registration period will receive one warning. The second infraction forfeits their eligibility to register in the next period. The next registration period opens on December 9, 2006 and closes December 22, 2006. Any new registrations placed outside of that period are subject to the conditions described above. -New NE racer registrations are limited to 2 new racers per registration period, per existing stable. Stables registering NE's for the first time are allowed to register up to 4 racers initially, total. There is no limit on the transfer of existing racers. Every new racer is required to race a minimum of three times for its registering stable before being transferred. Any existing racer that is transferred is likewise required to race at least three times for its new stable before being transferred again. Any stable found not adhering to this rule will receive one warning. The second infraction will result in being suspended for one NE racing season. -Every NE
racer must fit into one of two categories: Running Fast or Flying. In
addition, the Coordinator reserves the right to ask for provenance regarding
the existence of any racers she finds questionable. The following types
of animals will not be accepted for registration:
