Coordinators' Corner

Owners and managers are advised that the rules for NE Racing have been revised and rewritten for clarity and explanation of stable ownership. You can find those under the Non-Equines section of the QCC Racing Index. As always, we are interested in having taverns sponsor the refreshments at the NE Race Night. Tavern owners may contact the Coordinator to reserve a Race Night.

Purse Schedule:

Total purse for each race:
First - §400
Second - §250
Third - §150

Add §100 for Rank 1 races,
§200 for Rank 2 races,
§300 for Rank 3 races,
§400 for Rank 4 races,
$500 for Rank 5 races,
etc.

How ties are decided:
Two firsts:
Purses for first and second place added together, then divided equally.

Two seconds:
Purses for 2nd and 3rd place added together, then divided equally.

Two thirds:
Purse is divided equally.

Standard Payoff Table

Bet to win and horse wins:
350% of bet

Bet to place and horse places:
300% of bet

Bet to show and horse shows:
250% of bet

The payoff table is altered by the
bonus the racer has.

[-2] increases 20%
[ i.e. 150% becomes 170% ]
[-1] increases 10%
[0] percentage does not change
[+1] decreases 10%
[+2] decreases 20%
etc
