Mailing protocols

Mailing to Council:

- All informational material is to be sent to the council as a whole at council@questcoin.com.  Though a certain individual may be in charge of an area, such as taverns, it does not mean that the info you are providing does not impact a connecting area, or that there aren't several individuals in charge of updating the info you provide.

- Twice a month, the QCC will send out an update of all the new information we've received. This includes event dates, new members, racing information, and announcements.

This reduces the overall amount of mail going out, while increasing visibility for your news . Types of information to send in:
*new Houses
* House information corrections
*calendar dates and event announcements
*shop updates
*new taverns
*market information

*for every link you send, regardless of what it is for, please included the entire typed out url, as well as the bluelink.

Members mailing string:

- Guild leaders, treasurers, and independents are automatically entered onto the members string upon joining.

- This string is to be reserved for council use, and event announcements: ie markets, jousts, tavern events, and house hosted original events.  The latter is restricted to two mailings in connection with each event: One general announcement of the event, and one event reminder.

Voluntary mailing string:

- The voluntary string is made up of QCC members who have intentionally consented to be on it. The purpose of this list is to allow business announcements and flyers to be sent to those groups and individuals that welcome the information and intend to distribute it to their members.

- This mailing list does not replace any mailing lists compiled by individual businesses or event hosts from their own patrons and customers.

- in order to be included in the voluntary string you must fill out the necessary form:  voluntary mailing list 

This list can be used by any QCC member for these specific purposes:

1. To send a single flyer for the announcement of a new business.

2. For each QCC registered business to send no more than a single sale flyer each month. Please don't forget that the monthly Markets are a good way to advertise your sales, as well.
